systems are put in place to guard against common errors, and uncertainties. but there are also situations where you find 'system errors'. consider the following;
"My friend works in a big company. he got transferred from one city to another. as per policy the company had to provide for the first 15 days stay. He could either stay by himself or in a hotel. If he stayed by himself he would get paid Rs.3000 per day. He opted for hotel, and by the end of 15 days company was charged with Rs.15000 per day."
The guy responsible for making this policy will never have given it a second thought. He could save the company millions just by making a conscious decision. You drive a company by making a system. You drive it well when the system is well examined and error proof, but that is only possible when it is reviewed on a timely basis.
